Reduction for social welfare facilities
1. Relevant grounds
Guidelines for Reducing Urban Gas Rates for Social Welfare Facilities (Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Gas Industry Section -936 (June 29, 2012)
2. Recipient
- A) Living facilities for people with disabilities, community rehabilitation facilities for persons with disabilities, vocational rehabilitation facilities for the disabled, welfare facilities for the disabled, and manufacture facilities for the disabled by act 58 and 60 of the Welfare for Disabled Law and Enforcement Ordinance of the same Act.
- B) Child welfare facilities under Article 14 and Article 16 (1) of the Child Welfare Act
- C) Elderly residential welfare facilities (institution for the aged, elderly community house, elderly welfare housing), elderly medical welfare facilities (elderly nursing homes, geriatric hospitals), Eldery leisure facilities (eldery center, eldery school, eldery rest area), and elderly sanction welfare facilities (visitation care service, day / night protection service, short-term protection service, and visit bath service) under Articles 31 or 39 of the Elderly Welfare Act.
- D) Single-parent family welfare facilities according to Article 19 and Article 20 of the Single-parent Family Support Act
- E) Facilities for the protection of homeless and vagrant under Article 34 of the Social Welfare Business Act

* Those who operate a social welfare facility to reduce the city gas fee should report it to the city gas company.
4. Discount timing and rate
- A) The first day of the following month from the date of application.
- B) The amount of city gas used in the social welfare facility is multiplied by the difference between the unit price per 1MJ of the fee applied to the social welfare facility and the industrial fee applied to the industry
